Support work built on genuine connection.

Valiant works alongside autistic and neurodivergent teens and adults in Brisbane, building on their interests and working towards what matters to them. If that sounds like work you'd enjoy, we'd love to hear from you.

Who we're looking for

What are we looking for?

We're interested in you — your interests, hobbies, passions and values, and how you connect with people — not just your work history.

Team players who share our values and have a genuine passion for supporting others to reach their goals. At Valiant, support work isn't about completing tasks for someone — it's about coaching, guiding and encouraging people as they build practical skills and confidence.

People who thrive here are patient, organised and comfortable working independently. They're curious, open to learning and motivated by seeing others grow over time. Disability support experience can help, but it isn't essential — the right mindset, strong communication and a real commitment to independence matter most.

All applicants need

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them
  • A current Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one
  • A valid driver's licence, access to a well-maintained, comprehensively insured car, and willingness to provide transport support
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Two ways to join

We recruit support workers across two distinct roles. Both are about building genuine relationships and helping people work towards what matters to them — but the focus of each role is different.
