Support Worker

Turn shared interests into meaningful connection.

Support autistic and neurodivergent teens and adults to build confidence, relationships and community through gaming, hobbies and shared interests.

More than playing games.

Gaming and shared interests give us a meaningful starting point for connection.

As a Community Games Support Worker, you'll use common interests to help people connect with others, build confidence and participate in gaming and hobby communities.

  • Tabletop role-playing games
  • Board games
  • Trading card games
  • Miniature and tabletop gaming

  • Help build confidence in social situations
  • Support communication and positive interaction
  • Attend gaming stores, groups, events or community activities

  • You're patient, reliable and comfortable supporting people at their own pace
  • You can use shared interests to help someone feel comfortable and connected
  • You're willing to learn and develop as a support worker
  • You understand that being a great gaming partner and being a great support worker are not automatically the same thing

We are looking for people who can combine genuine shared interests with professional, person-centred disability support.
