A Call for Heroes

Adventurers hear our call! Draw your sword, read your spell-book or string your bow. We need you! Will you fight side by side with your allies to stop the vampire king who brews dark clouds over the land while he musters his undead army? Will you negotiate peace between the dwarven clans in time to unite against a darker force crawling out of the depths of the earth? Will you meet with the Faerie queen in the mysterious realm of the fey? Dark enchantment has been cast over the land that will need to be broken. All this is possible in the world of table-top role-playing games.

What are Dungeons and Dragons?

Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) is a table-top role-playing game where participants describe their characters' actions through speech as they navigate through a fictional world narrated by the game master. Efforts succeed or fail according to a rule system using dice. D&D provides participants with the opportunity to create a character that they can identify with and practice navigating tricky social situations in a group play setting. In addition, D&D fosters teamwork and perspective taking as characters possess strengths and weaknesses. All those who participate are required to work together to overcome challenges.
